State House has asked ZNBC to rebroadcast the Sunday Interview TV programme in which presidential press aide Amos Chanda is said to have attacked the Judiciary following recent judgments delivered in parliamentary petition cases.

The programme will be rebroadcast tonight.

Mr Chanda has told QFM that this is because most people who are insinuating that his remarks during the program were meant to intimidate the judiciary are doing so based on mere hearsay.

He says State House will not allow itself to be dragged into the debate based on hearsay.

Mr. Chanda says most of the people engaged in the debate of what he said seem not to have watched the program in full.

He states that he will therefore only comment on the condemnation from the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) after the rebroadcast of the program.

Mr. Chanda adds that he will also only respond to all those alleging that State House is attacking the Judiciary with the view of influencing the decisions of the Appeals Courts once they watched the rebroadcast of last Sunday’s Interview.
