Speaking this morning in Parliament during the Vice President’s Question time, Ms. Wina told the House that this explains why there seems to be a delay in concluding the investigations.

Ms. Wina says once investigation has been concluded and if there are any public servants that have been found wanting the law will take its course.

She states that government does however have any influence in the ongoing investigations by the ACC.

Ms. Wina was responding to a question by Chikankata Member of Parliament Kabwe Mwiinga who want to know when the said investigations by the Commission will be concluded.

And Ms. Wina has refuted insinuations that there has been discrimination in the manner government has been distributing farming equipments to the various chiefdoms in the Country.

Ms. Wina states that the distribution has been based on the assessment earlier made that certain parts of the Country produce more maize than the others.

She was responding to a question by Mazabuka Member of Parliament Garry Mkombo who sought clarity on whether the distribution farming equipments to the Districts was based on the number of votes the ruling PF got from each District in the last elections.
