Treatment Advocacy and Literacy Campaign (TALC) says there is need for government to treat people living with HIV with dignity.

Speaking in an interview with QTV News ahead of the commemoration of the World AIDS day which falls tomorrow, 1st December, TALC National Coordinator Felix Mwanza says there is need for government to put a stop to the procurement of ARVs which are nearing their expiry date.

Mr Mwanza says for a long time now, people living with HIV have been taken for granted.

He says the country cannot continue on the path of rationing HIV drugs, as well giving the people expired ARVs.

Mr. Mwanza has however encouraged people living with HIV to commemorate the World AIDS Day because of its significance in their lives.
