MPs have right to debate motions- Phiri

Ruling PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri says Members of Parliament have their democratic rights to raise and debate motions.

Ms. Phiri says as a party, the PF has nothing to do with the issue of bringing back deputy ministers.

She says it is up to parliamentarians to reject or accept the issue in their debates.

Ms. Phiri says the MP was exercising his right by raising the motion to amend the constitution.
