It’s unfair to ask Lungu why he fired Kambwili – State House

Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe says it’s unfair to ask President Edgar Lungu to disclose the reasons for dismissing Chishimba Kambwili as Information Minister.

Mr. Sikazwe says this is considering that it is the President’s prerogative to hire and fire.

In an interview with QTV, Mr. Sikazwe says those challenging President Lungu  should to make public his reasons for dismissing Dr Kambwili should understand that he is not first one to be dropped as Minister.

Mr. Sikazwe states that Ministers have in the past been relieved of their duties without anyone asking the President to disclose why they were fired.

He says this is the first time that the President is being pushed against the wall to give reasons for dismissing a Minister from government.
