A 21 year-old woman of Kanyama West has murdered her 46 year-old boyfriend Francis Zimba of Garden house.
Police Spokesperson Mwata Katongo says the incidence happened in the early hours of today, 9th November, 2016 at around 01:00 hours.
She says this was after the two allegedly picked up a quarrel which led to the suspect picking a knife and stabbed the victim.

Ms Katongo says the suspect Meya Nanfukwe who handed herself to Police is currently detained in Police custody and will be charged with murder.
She adds that the body of the deceased is in the University Teaching Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Ms. Katongo says Police are saddened by the increasing cases of murder involving couples.
She says Police will intensify sensitization campaigns in communities on Gender Based Violence with the hope of educating people on the dangers of the scourge.
Ms. Katongo has further called upon all stakeholders such as the Church to play a role in sensitizing its members during sermons.
