Lungu’s stance on ‘corrupt’ ministers cheers PF

The ruling Patriotic Front has welcomed President Edgar Lungu’s directive to investigative wings to probe the alleged involvement in corrupt activities by some Ministers.

PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya says the party also supports the position of President Lungu to fire any Minister who will be found wanting.

Mr. Bwalya says this will create confidence in Zambia’s governance system and the economy.

He states that the message President Lungu has sent of zero tolerance to corruption is encouraging to both local and foreign investors.

Mr. Bwalya states that by warning to fire corrupt Ministers, President Lungu has also demonstrated that the PF will remain zero tolerant to corruption.
