Increasing cases of murder involving married couples worries ICOZ

The Independent Churches of Zambia (ICOZ) says it is disturbed by increasing cases of murder involving married couples in the country.

ICOZ Board Chairperson Bishop David Masupa says the trend of women killing their husbands is saddening.

He says problems in marriages are inevitable, but that they can be solved by open and honest communication and apologizing when one has wronged his or her partner.

Bishop Masupa says there is no need for couples to resort to killing each other whenever a marital dispute arises when they can seek God through prayer and talking to their church leaders for advice and counseling when need be.

Bishop Masupa has since urged women not to give in to the spirit of resorting to killing their husbands whenever faced with a marital dispute, but rather seek God when overcome with such thoughts.
