Mines and Minerals Development Minister Christopher Yaluma says mapping for the possible exploration of minerals in Muchinga and Northern Provinces is still going on.

Mr. Yaluma says results of the explorations are expected to be known by early next year.
He has told QTV News that that so far preliminary indications his Ministry is getting are that there are in fact good mineral deposits in the two areas.
Mr. Yaluma says the minerals range from Gold, Tin, Nickle, Copper, Cobalt to emeralds.
He says what can however not be told is the extent to which these mineral deposits are available in the two provinces.
