A Financial Analyst has welcomed the move by government to allow traders at Kasumbalesa border post to trade in United States Dollars.

Mambo Hamaundu says government’s decision will enhance the way business is conducted at the border post.
He states that this will enable businesses to contribute effectively to the country’s economic growth.
Mr Hamaundu says there is need for local businesses at the border post to be formally registered in order to operate well.
Mr Hamaundu says legalized trade in US dollars will improve most businesses and enable traders conduct business effectively.
Last week, Finance Minister Felix Mutati announced that traders at Kasumbalesa border post will be allowed to conduct business in US Dollars.
