ZYAFAC pleased with Lungu’s resolve to curb corruption

Zambia Youths in the Fight Against Corruption (ZYAFAC) is happy with President Edgar Lungu’s resolve to curb corruption especially among senior government officials.

ZYAFAC Acting Executive Director Maurice Malambo says President Lungu’s strong position on corruption is inspiring confidence in the Zambian people.

Mr. Malambo says it is gratifying that the Head of State is also concerned with the slow pace by the Anti Corruption Commission to follow up cases of corruption in government.

Mr. Malambo has also called on the Ministers to heed to the President’s warning by staying away from corrupt activities.

He says the strong statement issued by President Lungu on corruption today during the swearing in of ministers is inspiring confidence in the fight against graft.
