ZDDM hails approving of creation of new Ministries

The Zambia Direct Democratic Movement (ZDDM) has added its voice in supporting the approval by Parliament that four more new Ministries be created.

The ZDDM believes that the new Ministry will ease the burden that other larger Ministries whose other functions have been stripped had.

ZDDM vice President Charles Kafumbo says his party thinks that some Ministries were too large and constrained with resources due to minimal budgetary allocations

Mr. Kafumbo says Zambians should understand that the creation of new ministries will thus greatly benefit certain sectors that have in the past been overshadowed by others within the ministries.

He has since commended Parliament for approving the creation of the new ministries as proposed by President Edgar Lungu.
