Chiefs and Traditions Affairs Minister Lawrence Sichalwe says this is because construction of the first 30 palaces 3 in each province that where earmarked in the first phase are taking too long.

Mr. Sichalwe says government wants to know why this is so and establish at which level the 30 palaces whose funding was released in 2014 are.

He says government through his Ministry wants to ascertain why construction of these palaces has stalled in spite of the money government released for their construction.

He says his Ministry only knows of one palace whose construction has been complete and handed over.
