UPND accuses PF of abandoning Sata’s vision

The opposition UPND has challenged the PF government to assess itself whether or not it is still walking by late President Michael Sata’s vision.

The UPND is concerned that under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu the PF government seems to have departed from the legacy of late President Sata.

UPND Lusaka District Youth Wing vice Secretary Otis Bwalya says his party has taken note that the ruling PF is in fact tearing apart the late President’s legacy.

Mr. Bwalya says his party vividly recalls how under the late President Sata, people’s freedoms and press freedom was upheld.

In an interview with QTV News Mr. Bwalya says his party also remembers how late President Sata did not lose focus on ensuring that poverty in the Country is reduced.

Mr. Bwalya notes that this is however not what is happening under President Lungu’s administration

He says his party has observed that besides people’s freedom being allegedly infringed upon the media in the Country is also being allegedly harassed.
