Zesco United Football Club says its Head Coach George Lwandamina will be in breach of contract if he signs a contract with Tanzanian side Young Africans Sporting Club.

In a statement, Club acting General Secretary Richard Mulenga says as far as the cub is concerned Lwandamina is in Monze attending a family bereavement.

Mulenga says Lwandamina had asked for permission to travel to Monze and is expected to return to camp today ahead of the midweek rescheduled game against Nkwazi Football Club in Lusaka tomorrow.

He says the club believes that Lwandamina is aware of his contractual obligations and implications of a possible breach if it is true that he is on the verge of signing a two year contract with Young African Sporting Club while he has a running contract with ZESCO United FC which expires in January 2017.

Mulenga adds that ZESCO believes that Lwandamina is a professional and is expected to behave as such.
