HH urged to take honesty introspective audit of his conduct

One HHUPND President Hakainde Hichilema has been urged to take an honesty introspective audit of his conduct after the August general elections.

The Zambia Youths in the fight against Corruption (ZYAFAC) is of a strong advice that Mr. Hichilema’s conduct under views is of high potency to expose him and some members of the party to state prosecution in respect to the party’s opposition aimed at generating public despondency against the election of President Lungu.

In a letter addressed to the UPND Leader obtained by QTV News, ZYAFAC Executive Director Maurice Malambo says in all neutrality, his organization is not privy to the nature of evidence in his possession advanced to the contest of the legitimacy of President Lungu’s presidency.

Mr. Malambo says it is public knowledge and as court records attest, this far, there is no process of competent jurisdiction that has declared the election under view a nullity.

He advises the UPND Leader that to share as a party or individuals his contrary position with the Zambian public and the international community without due ambience is ultra vires in the sense that  as a presidential petitioner he cannot play judge in his own case.

Mr. Malambo is also encouraging the UPND Leader that as a leader and a Christian, it is important that he forgives those who have injured him and the party for the sake of national peace, unity and prosperity.

He says Mr. Hichilema should not allow the loss and adversity to spell doom on his political prospects as an individual person, the party and the many Zambians who believe in his capabilities and the party.
