Uganda President Yoweri Museveni, who will grace Zambia’s 52^nd Independence Day celebrations tomorrow, has arrived in the country.

Mr. Museveni, who touched down at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 16:45hrs aboard a presidential challenger, was accorded a 21-gun salute, inspected a guard of honour mounted by the Zambia Army.

Mr. Museveni is also expected to hold bilateral talks with President Edgar Lungu.

The visiting Head of State is also expected to pay a courtesy call on First Republican President Dr. Kenneth Kaunda.

The Ugandan President is expected to return back to Uganda tomorrow shortly after gracing Zambia’s Independence Day celebrations.

Tomorrow’s Independence Day celebrations will be commemorated under the theme “Working together for greater unity, hard work, and patriotism”.
