MMD refutes claim Mutati is being propped for 2021

The opposition MMD has dismissed as corridor gossip insinuations its leader Felix Mutati is being propped up to stand for Presidency on the PF ticket in 2021.

MMD National Secretary Raphael Nakachinda has wondered how anyone can think of Mr. Mutati contesting the presidency in 2021 barely two months after a general election.

Mr. Nakachinda thinks anyone talking about 2021 is really confused.

He has told QTV News in an interview that this is because after a general election what should make sense to be the subject is delivery development.

Mr. Nakachinda says this is because elections of 2021 are not crucial to discuss presently.
