Nine Civil Society Organizations and Church mother bodies have come together to organize an inter-party dialogue meeting involving all major political parties in view of the prevailing political environment in the country.
Zambia Center for Inter Party Dialogue (ZCID) Executive Director Horrance Chilando whose organisation is spearheading the agenda has disclosed to QTV News that the organization will not be discouraged even if some political parties are not showing interest to be part of the meeting.
He says their focus is to have all political parties represented at this important meeting.
Mr. Chilando says the organization is making frantic efforts in bringing together all major political party leaders to a round table discussion to iron out their issues.
He has noted the urgent need to sort out outstanding issues that need to be resolved before the situation gets out of hand.
Mr. Chilando is confident that all major political parties will find time to attend the meeting whose date will be announced soon.
