Born Short Living Tall (BSLT) has expressed concern that the ministerial appointments made by President Edgar Lungu are not inclusive of persons with disabilities.

BSLT Executive Director Pastor Ntalasha Chisha has told QTV News that the organization is concerned that people living with disabilities are also left out when it comes to empowerment programmes.

Pastor Ntalasha cites the ongoing empowerment of youths with Buses by the government as one such empowerment programme which has left out youths living with disabilities.

He notes that there are a lot of people living with disabilities who have the capacity to run such businesses, thus the need for them to also be considered.

Pastor Chisha says it is important that President Lungu plays an important role of working with people with disabilities so that they too can contribute positively to the development of the country.
