Zambian DNA welcomes Matibini’s reelection as Speaker

The Zambian DNA has welcomed the reelection of Justice Dr. Patrick Matibini as Speaker of the National Assembly, Catherine Namugala and Mwimba Malama as First and Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly respectively.

Zambia DNA Spokesperson Spuki Mulemwa says Dr. Matibini has experience in Parliamentary procedures and etiquette and so he is the suitable person for that position.

He commends the members of Parliament for putting Zambia first by confirming the nominations on non partisan lines.

Mr. Mulemwa says members of parliament have exhibited maturity on this matter.

He has since commended President Edgar Lungu for his all inclusive leadership style by proposing the names to parliament.

Mr. Mulemwa has also urged all well meaning Zambians to do away with bitterness and support the efforts of the President to better the lives of all Zambians through the many developmental projects and plans being undertaken by the government.
