RDA constructs over 350km of roads under L400

The Road Development Agency has disclosed that so far over 350 kilometers out of the 408km of roads under the L400 Road Project have been done.

And the agency is confident that the first phase of the L400 road project will be done by January 2017.

RDA Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs Loyce Saili says the project which started in 2013 is a 43 months road project to upgrade some selected roads in Lusaka to bituminous standards.

Ms Saili says under the project, some roads have been expanded such as Chilimbulu and Burma roads to two lanes.

She says the project also has seen the putting of street lighting in some roads.
