Saunders wants constitution revisited

A UPND Member Dante Saunders says many stakeholders are now agreeing with him that the amended constitution needs a retouch.

Mr. Saunders says when he said the constitution had many errors, a lot of stakeholders thought he was just bitter with the government but that they are now appreciating what he was advocating.

Mr. Saunders says he warned Zambians that they risked being in a constitutional crisis for failure to relook at the constitution that was signed by President Lungu in January this year.

He says it is gratifying that many people are calling on President Lungu to ensure that the nation revisits the constitution and correct some mistakes it carries before it creates more problems in the governance system of the nation.
