MPs urged to support motion to create Religious Ministry

Members of Parliament have been urged to support the creation of the new ministry of National Guidance and Religious Affairs when the motion is moved as the house begins sitting this Friday.

Every Home for Christ Regional Director Bishop Richard Kakuwa says the creation of the Ministry should be supported by Members of parliament because of the vast benefits it will come with.

He says parliamentarians need to put party interests aside and do the right thing by supporting the motion.

And Bishop Kakuwa is disappointed that some church leaders are opposing the creation of the Ministry of National Guidance and Religious Affairs
