ZYAFAC welcomes arresting of former ZNFU bosses

The Zambia Youths Association in the Fight against Corruption (ZYAFAC) has joined other stakeholders in welcoming the arrest and resignation of Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) President Dr. Evelyn Nguleka and Executive Director Ndambo Ndambo for money laundering activities.

ZYAFAC Acting Executive Director Maurice Malambo is however, appealing to the donor community not to be discouraged by what has happened at ZNFU, but rather look at the positive impact their programs have had on the local people.

Mr. Malambo says the officials involved in the scandal must be made to pay back what they got and the money channeled to programs that will alleviate the lives of the farmers.
