Lungu called on to come up with balanced Cabinet

Hope for Human Rights Executive Director Smart Chanda has called on president Edgar Lungu to come up with a balanced Cabinet with representation from all the 10 provinces as he continues to appoint Ministers.

Mr. Chanda says his organization is hopeful that President Lungu will come up with a well-balanced Cabinet that is representative of all regions in the country.

He notes that a Cabinet representative of all tribes would help unite the country and heal the political wounds arising from last month’s general election.

Mr. Chanda says this would help foster economic development in all corners of the country irrespective of the voting patterns in the last general election.

He is hopeful that President Lungu will unite the country following the divisions that emerged from the elections.
