FFTU challenges govt to implement abolishment of casualization

The Federation of Free Trade Union is challenging government to expedite the implementation of the abolishment of casualisation of labour.

FFTUZ President Chingati Msiska says has appealed to the newly appointed Labour Minister Joyce Nonde-Simukoko who he says understands most of the labour challenges to be in the forefront of monitoring the effective implementation of the banning of Casualisation of labour.

And Mr. Msiska says the Union expects Ms Simukoko to perform accordingly as Labour Minister because she is not new to problems in the Labour Industry.

He says the labour movement is excited to have its own serving as Minister of Labour and Social Security.
