Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma says the team that President Edgar Lungu has assembled so far is a reflection of his commitment to perform well in office.

Dr. Ng’oma says the Head of State has so far shown the nation that his cabinet will be appointed on merit so as to develop the nation.
Dr. Ng’oma says the appointment of Felix Mutati as Finance Minister, Dr. Patrick Matibini as Speaker of the National Assembly, Catherine Namugala as Deputy Speaker and other members saying these are men and women of integrity that he has appointed so far.
He says surely these people that he has brought to work with him will no doubt fail the people of Zambia in taking development closer to the people.
Dr. Ng’oma states that he is encouraged that the president has mounted a functional team and is confident that the remaining appointments will also be made on merit.
He says it is important that the people of Zambia despite their political affiliation must work towards developing the nation by supporting the Head of State.
