Islamic Council expects Sata’s initiated projects t continue

The Islamic Supreme Council says it is hoping that the Patriotic Front will continue with the developmental projects that were initiated by late President Michael Sata that have not been completed.

Supreme council President Suzyo Zimba says by voting for the PF, people expect them to complete the many developmental projects that they had started.

He says the PF had embarked on a number of projects and it is important that they do not move away from that but ensure that they finish.

Mr. Zimba has advised the PF not to begin new projects without finishing what they had started but that the new projects should wait for those that were already started to be completed.

Mr. Zimba says looking at what the PF did under President Lungu’s short term’s leadership, they expect a lot in the five years.

He says they should be no honeymoon for the government but that they should start work as soon as possible.
