The Zambian DNA has called on all the appointed ministers so far to hit the road running as Zambia is in a hurry to develop.

Zambian DNA Spokesperson Spuki Mulemwa says this is the time to deliver to the populace what was promised during campaigns.

Mr. Mulemwa says all those elected must now go out and work for the people of this country who put them in the positions they occupy.

He concurs with President Lungu that those appointed into the cabinet must put the interests of the country first before self.

And Mr. Mulemwa has commended the President for the creation of the Ministry of National Guidance and Religious Affairs; saying this will go a long way in ensuring that the country observes the rule of law even in matters of religion.

He says his organization is alive to the negative sentiments attributed to the usual armchair critics who will oppose and attack the President for any decision or policy no matter how progressive.

Mr. Mulemwa has since urged President Lungu as well as Vice President Inonge Wina to ignore those bent on distracting their attention from the real issues of national development.
