CSAWUZ want Pension reforms tabled before parley

The Civil Servants and Allied Workers Union of Zambia (CSAWUZ) has implored the incoming parliament to table the bill that will deal with pension reforms in the country.

CSAWUZ Secretary General Joy Beene explains that the process of drafting the bill by the ministry of justice had started before parliament was dissolved.

He notes as parliament opens, the bill should be taken to parliament so that the members of parliament can diligently debate it.

Mr. Beene says the bill is very important to the workers in the country and thus the need for the bill to be tabled in the next sitting.

He says the labour movement and the workers have confidence that parliament will give them what they are asking for by passing the bill.
