Chinese firm to establish cloth making company in Eastern Province

Eastern Province Permanent Secretary Chanda Kasolo has disclosed that a Chinese company is planning to establish a cloth manufacturing company in Chipata.

Mr. Kasolo has disclosed the development to QTV News in an interview that the establishment of this cloth making company will create jobs for the local people.

Mr. Kasolo says government will continue promoting initiatives aimed at creating the much needed employment opportunities for the people of Zambia.

He says the establishment of the company will be successful because Eastern Province is known for producing cotton and that this will also promote cotton farming in the province.
