FDD wants an inclusive cabinet

The opposition Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) has urged President Edgar Lungu to come up with an all inclusive Cabinet that will help him to lift the country out of poverty.

FDD Spokesperson Antonio Mwanza says the President should look beyond politics and tribe when coming up with his cabinet.

Mr. Mwanza notes that five years is a long time hence the need to have people in cabinet who will perform and help manage the country’s economy.

He says the country is not short of capable leaders with various talents in various sectors who the President can appoint to his cabinet to help him run the country effectively for the next five years.

Mr. Mwanza states that appointing people who cannot deliver would not be good for the country considering the many challenges being faced which need to be addressed.
