ZCSD asks govt to sensitize people implications of IMF bailout

Government has been urged to sensitize the Zambian people what International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout is and its implications.

The Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) Executive Secretary Lewis Mwape has also warned Zambians to be ready themselves for harsher economic conditions in the coming months.

Mr. Mwape says apart from the already deplorable living conditions, summarized by the deplorable power crisis, Zambians would be hit harder, now that Zambia is headed for an IMF bailout.
