UPND needs space to heal before dialogue

The Zambia Center for Inter Party Dialogue (ZCID) has been urged to give the opposition UPND chance and space before engaging it in any dialogue meeting.

The Islamic supreme council of Zambia President Suzyo Zimba says the indication by the ZCID to engage all political parties in an urgent Indaba is a good initiative but untimely for UPND.

Mr. Zimba believes that the UPND has not yet recovered from the loss of the elections as well as petition.

He says it is for this reason that the scheduled ZCID Indaba should be pushed forward to allow the UPND to heal.
