It is not true HH has incited a revolt against govt – Katuka

The opposition UPND has dismissed as not true insinuations that its leader Hakainde Hichilema has incited Zambians to rise against the PF government.

And UPND Secretary General Stephen Katuka has refuted assumptions that by seeming to have given up on the fight in Courts to claim his alleged stolen votes of the August 11th presidential elections, Mr. Hichilema has let the people of Zambia down.

Stephen Katuka – UPND Secretary General

Mr. Katuka has told Qfm News by telephone that all that Mr. Hichilema has been telling the people of Zambia is that it is not for him to get to State House.

He says what is critical to Mr. Hichilema is not for him to get into State House but that what is critical to him is to see a Country where all enjoy their freedoms and liberties.

Mr. Katuka states that the opposition UPND wants Democracy to flourish as well as see the rule of law of respected by every citizen.

He says the UPND can however only go a certain level in this quest as it is not an individual fight.

Mr. Katuka states that the UPND leadership has on its part taken it to this length by pushing through Constitutional Court and the High Court and also now appealing to the Supreme Court.
