Church urged to help HH heal from defeat

The ruling PF in Shibuyunji  District has described as unacceptable UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema’s continued accusation that the August 11th general elections were rigged.

PF Shibuyunji District Chairman Joseph Kasonde has wondered why Mr. Hichilema participated in the elections when he knew that he would be defeated.

And Mr. Kasonde says he is particularly concerned that UPND members are not being sincere to Mr. Hichilema by not helping him accept the fact that he lost the elections.

He says Mr. Hichilema’s continued public utterances clearly shows that he is still in denial of the loss he suffered to President Edgar Lungu.

Mr. Kasonde has appealed to the Church, elderly statesmen and other counseling groups to help the UPND leader understand that President Lungu will remain in charge of the Country until 2021.
