Lungu committed to uniting Zambia – State House

State House has reaffirmed President Edgar Lungu’s commitment to uniting the country following his reelection.

The President’s Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda says President Lungu’s commitment to uniting the Zambian people has not changed in anyway.

In an interview with Qfm News, Mr. Chanda has referred to President Lungu’s promise to make his first visit to Dudumwenzi in Southern province as a clear demonstration of his commitment to uniting the country.

Mr. Chanda says Zambians should also keep in mind that it is under President Lungu’s tenure where the One Zambia One Nation motto has become more pronounced since the UNIP government days.

He says President Lungu has demonstrated enthusiastic commitment to the revival of the motto with the aim of uniting the Zambian people.

Mr. Chanda notes that to this effect, it is also expected that President Lungu’s new Cabinet will reflect the promotion of this motto.
