People’s Party President Mike Mulongoti says government should be seen to promote media freedom in the country.

Mr Mulongoti who is a former Minister of Information and broadcasting services says government should not be seen to be targeting those media houses perceived to be anti government.
He says the recent clampdown on some media institutions by the Independent Broadcasting Authority is not encouraging.
Mr Mulongoti has since implored President Edgar Lungu not to be an enemy of media freedom in Zambia.
