The Southern African Center for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) has proposed that government organizes an indaba of stakeholders to chart the way forward pertaining to the failed referendum on the bill of rights.

SACCORD Executive Director Boniface Cheembe says there is need to agree on the modalities of adopting the remaining part of the constitution.

Mr. Cheembe says stakeholders should go to the indaba with one heart so that the nation can progress in the right direction.

He states that most stakeholders are concerned that the progressive bill of rights failed to pass during the referendum and thus the need to find means and ways of either holding another referendum or adopting it through other means.

Mr Cheembe says there is need to enshrine the progressive bill of rights in the constitution so that people can enjoy expanded rights.
