SACCORD advises politicians to start preparing for 2021 polls

The Southern Africa Center for Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) has encouraged political parties to start concentrating on their roles after last week’s general elections.

SACCORD Executive Director Boniface Cheembe says the opposition at this end are expected to start providing quality checks and balances on the government.

Mr. Cheembe says the party in power is also expected to start concentrating on taking development to the people and do the correct thing while in government.

He says political parties must begin to forget about the polls and look ahead by plan effectively for the 2021 general elections.
