PF in Monze praise Lungu

The ruling PF in Monze District has praised President Edgar Lungu’s determination of taking development to all parts of the country after last week’s general election.

PF Monze District Chairman Gilbert Mwila says the party in the district is pleased that President Lungu has pledged to take development to all parts of the country even in areas where he did not get enough votes.

And Mr. Mwila says the party is happy that the votes they got in the just ended elections doubled as compared to the votes they got during last year’s presidential by-election.

He says these indicators are showing that the party has been accepted in the province.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mwila says the PF constitution does not bar anyone from contesting the presidency and that they are free to join the ruling PF and stand a chance of becoming leaders under the PF ticket.
