The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has expressed concern over the high number of rejected ballots in the just ended elections.

EFZ Executive Director Reverend Pukuta Mwanza says the 85, 795 rejected ballots in the presidential election alone is worrying.

Reverend Mwanza notes that this could be that the Electoral Commission of Zambia is not doing enough in sensitizing voters on how to vote.

He however, states that educating voters on how to vote should not be left to the commission alone, but that all stakeholders should do their part.

Reverend Mwanza states that going forward; there is need for the ECZ to go flat-out in educating would be voters on how to vote to avoid a high turnout of rejected ballots.
