Coleen Rooney makes sure she does this with Wayne once a week

COLEEN Rooney might have been married to Wayne Rooney for eight years — but she’s not about to let the romance go out of her relationship any time soon.

Admittedly with three sons — six-year-old Kai, three-year-old Klay and seven-month-old Kit — Coleen might not get that much one-on-one time with her husband.

But the 30 year old still manages to go on one precious date night a week with Wayne.

“Once a week we get a babysitter and either go for dinner, to the cinema or we might just stay in,” Coleen exclusively told OK! magazine.

“We started it when we had Klay because once we had two kids we didn’t have time for each other.

“Now we make sure that we stick to that time once a week.

“Sometimes it’s just about catching up on TV and talking because, when you’ve got three kids, you don’t have much adult conversation!”

Earlier this month, the couple’s family home was targeted by a masked intruder during Wayne’s testimonial match at Old Trafford.

The Manchester United striker was taking part in the game against Everton when the burglar raided his Cheshire mansion.

Coleen and their three children, Kai, Klay and Kit were all supporting Wayne at the match just 18 miles away.

The attempted break in was brought to a halt when the thief triggered the Rooney’s security system.
