President Lungu extends lead

Results from 90 of the 156 constituencies put President Edgar Lungu in the lead with 955,035 votes against UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema with 840,232 votes.

The difference between the two forerunners is 114,803 votes.

FDD’s Edith Nawakwi has maintained his distant third place with 14,592 votes,PAC’s Andyford Banda has 8,723 votes, Rainbow party’s Wynter Kabimba has 5,032 votes,UNIP’s Tilyenji Kaunda has 4,944 votes.

Others are UPP’s Savior Chishimba with 4,937 votes, Green party’s Peter Sinkamba with 2,427 votes and DA’s Maxwell Mwamba has 1,367 votes.
