Mutesa praises Zambians for peaceful polls

Zambians for Empowerment and Development President Fredrick Mutesa has praised Zambians for peaceful manner in which they voted in today’s elections.

Speaking in an interview with Qfm news, Dr. Mutesa says it was overwhelming to see a lot of people turning up in large numbers to choose their leaders peacefully.

Dr. Mutesa says it is every Zambian’s democratic right to choose the leader of their choice, hence the need for everyone to take part in the voting.

He states that through voting, Zambians are able to contribute to the development of the nation by choosing leaders who can represent them according to their expectations.
