UNIP ready for Thursday elections

The United National Independence Party (UNIP) has declared its readiness for Thursday’s general election.

(UNIP) Vice President Njekwa Anamela says the former ruling party has done its best to sell itself to the people of Zambia and that it remains up to them to decide come August 11th.

Mr. Anamela has implored Zambians to vote wisely, keeping in mind that they will have to endure five years with whichever party they will vote for.

He says it is therefore important that Zambians vote for a party they can trust to lead them in the next five years.

Mr. Anamela states that by now, Zambians know who is telling them the truth and who is lying to them and will therefore vote wisely.

He has since urged voters to turn out in large numbers and exercise their right to vote.
