PAC President Andyford Banda
People’s Alliance for Change (PAC) president Andyford Banda has encouraged voters not be discouraged by yesterday’s political violence in Mtendere, but turn out in large numbers and vote in Thursday’s elections.
He says it is shocking that some political parties have continued to engage political violence despite many efforts by stakeholders to curb the vice.
Mr. Banda says his party finds it difficult to comprehend how violence plays a role in the country’s democracy.
He has noted the need for a political overhaul that will bring about politics centered on the people and not individuals.
