YALI wants elections decided in first round

Young African Leaders Initiative Governance Specialist Isaac Mwanza says it is possible that the Presidential elections will be decided in the first round.

Mr. Mwanza explains that all the opposition political parties apart from UPND president Hakainde Hichilema no one will get more than 4 percent in the country.

He says the 96 percent would be shared between the two largest political parties which is the Patriotic Front and the Opposition United Party for National Development UPND as evidenced from the 2015 elections statistics.

Mr. Mwanza says the organization is not trying discrediting any political parties but they are looking at the trend of voting in the country.
