Nkana striker Ronald Kampamba says he is not feeling any pressure of returning home on loan after a two-year stint abroad.

Kampamba rejoined Nkana in July on a twelve month loan just a year and a half after signing on with Egyptian club Wadi Degla before spending the 2015/2016 season on loan at Belgium club Lierse.

The Zambia striker and 2013 Golden Boot winner played his first match back on Saturday when he came on in the 53rd minute of Nkana’s 2-0 home win over bottom of the log Mufulira Blackpool.

“I have no pressure at all and I am happy to be back home,” Kampamba said.

Kampamba said he will do his best in Nkana’s quest to win an unprecedented 13th FAZ Super League title, three years after his 18 goals propelled the Kitwe giants to their top-flight crown.

Nkana are currently second on the table on 38 points, eleven behind Zanaco from twenty games with fourteen matches left to play.

“I can tell you that Nkana can still win the league this season,” Kampamba said.

“It is open until the final day of the season. We must just work together but I believe in Nkana, we can deliver what everyone wants.”
